Kima asked: I want to buy a digital camera for taking pictures of stuff for sale, mainly clothes and personal accessories, for posting on websites (such as auctions) as well as printing in hard copy for promotions. I’d like to set up a low budget or makeshift studio. After reading around, Canon seems like the way to go. I’m on a budget. I was looking at something in the ‘S’ series. I have seen alot of reviews for cameras for personal use but not much for small scale commercial use. I’m a bit overwhelmed by all the models and specs. I want this digital camera primarily for work and not play.
Can anyone recommend a Canon camera model for my type of use, or other digital camera model for that matter?
Also, does anyone know a website that has with digidtal camera reviews geared for product photography?

growknowledge asked: I’ve read tons of reviews of Whirlpools breaking down and getting error codes in the display, but my problem is that nothing looks clean! The sheets and whites are all getting dingy. Spots never come out. Even after I pre-treat and scrub with a brush. On the way to church my son put a small amount of mud on his shirt. I washed the shirt that night (sprayed and scrubbed) and the dirt didn’t come out. I watched part of the cycle and it seems the unit never actually fills with water. The water just runs in, gets the clothes wet and then spins dry. This is my 2nd front loader and I am sure the other one filled up at least a 1/4 or 1/2 of the tub. Anyone have a similar experience or able to give commentary on how their front loader works during the cycle? This is really frustrating. I have two small kids and don’t love to spend my time doing laundry – especially when it comes out looking dirty!

Delanie S asked: (i accidentally deleted the other version…)
I was going to go there but I’m not sure if I’ll be wasting my time. I searched it on Google and a lot of the reviews said that their clothes are cheap and aren’t durable. Wasn’t sure if they were just being harsh or they were actually telling the truth. Their clothes seem to be nice and inexpensive but I don’t want to be disappointed. Everyone says that their material is cheap too. I am a teenager so i pretty much outgrow my clothes really fast, and I guess they should last me ’til maybe like October. Could you describe their quality? And if they are cheap, can you recommend another store with inexpensive, cute clothes?
I’m also not very aggressive with my clothing… I don’t know how that’ll affect it but whatever.
and i don’t know what the big deal about having to wash everything by hand…..

smart-doctor-egypt asked: Islam recognizes the inherent bonds of love that exist between parents and their children. However, there are certain guidelines which have been put forth in the Qur`an and in the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) which explicitly describe the rights and obligations of both parents and children.
Child’s Rights, Parents’ Obligations
From the outset, Islam has placed great importance on the rights of the children and the reciprocal obligations of the parents. After careful review, a few principles can be presented as a summary of the general approach to children. First and foremost, from conception onwards, the child is in no way to be a cause of harm to its parents. While the mother is to suckle the child for up to two years and the father is charged with overseeing the welfare and subsistence of both mother and child, the Quran clearly states that in carrying out either responsibility:
{”… no soul shall have imposed upon it a duty but to the extent of its capacity}” (Baqarah 2:233). Indeed, the verse continues to declare that:
{ “… a mother be made to suffer harm on account of her child, nor a father on account of his child…”}.
As much as the child must bring no harm to its parents, by implication we understand that the parents are equally responsible to reciprocate and to cause no harm the child. Parents are encouraged to be gentle and kind with their children even when they intend to discipline them. In addition, parents are enjoined to protect their children by providing for both their physical and emotional development. Food, clothing and shelter are the rights of a child as are a peaceful and nurturing living environment and access to a sound education.
The Qur’an also recognizes that the parent-child relationship is built upon a foundation of mutual love, such that for any parent, children are an immense source of joy, pride and strength. Starting from infancy, the child brings great moments of joy for her parents. The parents especially form a close bond with the child, attending to her daily needs, adjusting to her sleeping schedule, playing with her, and holding her in their arms for endless numbers of hours and sacrificing their own comfort. The baby’s first words bring great joy to the parents. As the baby grows up, crawling, taking steps towards walking, and gaining strength, the parents take great pride in that and often share every new development with family and friends. The child has the right to be provided a safe and secure environment while these new physical and mental developments are taking place.

bombastic asked: I’m contemplating opening a women’s clothing boutique but I’m not sure where I should go to obtain the clothes and accessories. Should I buy from a wholesaler in a garment district such as the one in New York, or do I have to make overseas contacts where they are manufactured? I don’t know if this is ever done on consignment. How much money is a realistic amount for starting up a small boutique?
